the synthetics test-it uses specific software to test out a system.
you could set which specific part of the system that you want to test out.
It could be the GPU(graphic processing unit) or CPU(Central processing unit) or any other stuff that you want to calculate. the result will be displayed in numerical means here are the softwares that are currently been used:
a)3d mark vantage
b)3d mark 06
c)sandra XII
Game test - belive it or not alot of the hardware are being tested using games.the result will be interm of FPS which is frame per second which games do they choose to test the hardware?
basically the hardcore game which needs alot of graphic n processing power like:
a) far cry 2
b) crysis
c)Left 4 dead
d)stalker: clear sky
e)GTA 4
Time test-how fast does a hardward perform at certain task
a)video and audio decoding
b)rendering and filtering graphic objects or images
C)compression winzip or winrar
